In Southeast Asia, America World cares for 68 orphaned children in a safe, loving care home. These children are served by three to four One Orphan teams each year who provide week-long enrichment camps, English classes and advocate for the needs of the children. Over the years we have rebuilt the crumbling school building for the children, renovated the basketball court, and painted the boys’ dormitory.

Additionally, America World was able to respond to emergency needs after a cyclone demolished part of the campus. The monthly support provided by America World enables the home to have consistent funding thus allowing for a lower caregiver ratio, better nutrition, social workers who evaluate the needs of the children and an educational afterschool program.
