Kyrgyzstan Mission Trip Background:

It is bounded by Kazakhstan on the northwest and north, by China on the east and south, and by Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on the south and west. Most of Kyrgyzstan’s borders run along mountain crests. The capital is Bishkek. One Orphan Team members will travel to volunteer in baby homes and children’s homes. Many of the children who live in these homes have moderate to severe medical and physical needs. Teams will also have the opportunity to advocate for children who need a forever family. This trip is specifically a medical trip to support the needs of the children.

About Our Leader:

Kanhka has been involved with international missions since 1996. The most recent trip was to China in October of 2016 through Storyteller Missions serving orphans through medical evaluations and advocating on their behalf for placement with forever families. He states that it was one of the most meaningful experiences of his life and wants others to experience and invest in this ministry. He returned to China a year later to adopt his son. He is hoping and praying that a team will be able to enter Kyrgyzstan and provide services that will impact its orphans in this lifetime and for eternity.
