About Jamaica

The Caribbean nation of Jamaica is vulnerable to storms and natural disasters that have left many of the nation in dire poverty. The most vulnerable among them are those with special needs who often do not get the care, education, and support they need. America World seeks to intervene through ministries that provide the love and care of Jesus through missions and ministry support.

Jamaica Ministries

The Jamaica Deaf Village is a safe place where the deaf can live, work, and learn in safety surrounded by those who care for them. America World teams travel to the Jamaica Deaf Village 1-2 times per year. Teams assist with construction projects, support the residents, and encourage the missionaries living in the village.
