“You Bet Your Boots!”: Treasuring the Legacy of Karyn Purvis on Her Birthday

Today would have been Karyn Purvis’ 68th birthday, and we desire to honor her memory and work on this special day.  Though her life was cut short by cancer, her legacy will live on for many years through the wisdom, insight, and inspiration she instilled in adoptive parents and professionals around the world.  Foundational to her work was this concept, in her own words:  

In order to help our children heal, we must understand and address the differences in their brain, body, biology, and beliefs…Our children were harmed in relationship and they will experience healing through nurturing relationships.
