When Waiting Is Painful

On the site Together for Adoption, Dan Cruver writes a post showing the parallels between the wait time involved in international adoption and the length of time that God waited for His own plan of adoption.  In it, he points and encourages the reader to examine first, the length of time that God waited for His plan to adopt us as His children, to help put into perspective the waiting that families struggle with through their own adoption processes.
