Adoption Programs Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Adoption Programs Administrative Assistant to work out of our corporate office in McLean, Virginia. This is an hourly (24-28 hours per week) position.

The position will provide administrative support to America World’s busy adoption programs. The Assistant will work closely with America World program staff and have the opportunity to work across several different programs. The successful applicant will feel a calling to be involved with the mission of international adoption, have strong communication and multitasking skills, and be well-organized and detail-oriented. 

The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, possesses a minimum of a High School diploma, and has extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Internships

We are also seeking individuals to serve as summer interns (unpaid) in several departments. Part-time and full-time internships are available in public relations, adoption programs, and office administration.

The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, feels a calling to be involved with adoption and orphan care, is currently seeking a degree in a field relevant to the applicable department (e.g. social work, human services, public relations, human resources/office administration, etc.), and possesses basic computer skills.
