Adoption Programs Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a part-time Adoption Programs Administrative Assistant to work out of our corporate office in McLean, Virginia. This is an hourly (24-28 hours per week) position.
The position will provide administrative support to America Worldâ€™s busy adoption programs. The Assistant will work closely with America World program staff and have the opportunity to work across several different programs. The successful applicant will feel a calling to be involved with the mission of international adoption, have strong communication and multitasking skills, and be well-organized and detail-oriented.
The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, possesses a minimum of a High School diploma, and has extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. We are also seeking individuals to serve as summer interns (unpaid) in several departments. Part-time and full-time internships are available in public relations, adoption programs, and office administration.
The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, feels a calling to be involved with adoption and orphan care, is currently seeking a degree in a field relevant to the applicable department (e.g. social work, human services, public relations, human resources/office administration, etc.), and possesses basic computer skills.
