Welcoming Angels Update
The first group of children being hosted from Ethiopia will arrive in Baltimore, Maryland this Saturday! Please keep these 5 children and our Africa director in your prayers as they leave Ethiopia Friday night. Also, if you could please keep them in prayer over the next 4 weeks, as the children get adjusted to a new culture and living with a family. I am amazed how it has all come together with the help of so many people working together.
Our partnering ministry in Maryland, Grafted Families, has organized some fun events for the children and host families. In addition, they have been collecting items needed by the orphanages to send back when the children leave in May. We anticipate sending at least 6 filled suitcases of needed items for the orphanages. If you are interested in donating items please visit the sign up list by clicking here
If you live in the Baltimore or surrounding area consider joining us for the outing to the Baltimore zoo. The children and host families will be visiting the Baltimore Zoo on Sunday, May 1st from 12:45 – 4:00 p.m. Group tickets can be purchased online through Grafted Families.
