Welcoming Angels Spring Hosting Program

Welcome angelsAmerica World is recruiting host families for
our Spring 2013 Welcoming Angels Hosting Program. We are looking for advocacy and adoption
minded families to host older orphaned children from Ethiopia for 4 weeks
during the month of June. At this time,
interested families must be willing to host children, mostly boys, ages 12-15
and sibling sets with boys and girls between 10-15 years old. We have a few
girls age 13 and 14 available. We also have healthy girls and boys age 7
and up that are HIV+ and are waiting to participate in the program as
well.

“Hosting an orphan helped to make the adoption process
a success. We believe hosting eliminated false expectations. We already
saw the good and the bad. It has helped us know how to prepare for her
transition into our family. Hosting is kind of like a courtship before
committing to marriage and we feel this was the best thing our family could
have done.”-Kori Tuckerman, 2012 Hosting Mother

Hosting
communities are now forming in Indiana, South Carolina, Arizona, Maryland,
California, Oregon, Washington, Missouri and Wisconsin.
