The webinar is described as follows:
Adoption influences and intensifies the normal
developmental tasks of adolescence including: separation from parents, identity formation,
and decisions relating to sexuality. Both at home and at school, struggles
related to this extra layer of challenges can trigger mild and sometimes
serious emotional/ behavioral issues for teens from ALL adoptive backgrounds.
Participants will learn “the six spots where teens get stuck” and the
knowledge they need to understand and parent their teens through this complex
journey.
It will be led by CASE CEO Debbie B. Riley, LCMFT, an expert on adolescent health and adoptive mother herself. To register, click here.
