Waiting Wednesday: Brothers “Jake” & “Brady” Need a Forever Family

“Brady” and “Jake” are 2 sweet paternal brothers who are in need of a family!  It is very unique for siblings to be available for adoption, and it’s a blessing to be able to know this information and share this rare situation with others as we pray for a loving home for them.

“Brady” is almost 3 years old and is described as a very clever and adorable little boy that everyone likes!  He is able to say simple statements, such as, “I want to eat” or “hug”.  He is mobile and can walk anywhere in the room that he wants to, as well as squat and then stand up.  He likes to mimic others and will imitate their dancing moves!  “Brady” has been diagnosed with brain dysplasia. As a newborn, he was found to be premature and had mild hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.

“Jake” is a 3 ½ year old who is active and cheerful!  He enjoys playing with toys and with his friends. He is liked by all, and his caregivers express their desire for him to find a loving family who will give him the love and the special care he needs.  “Jake” has been diagnosed with brain dysplasia and his medical notes indicate lower motor function of the right limbs.  He is currently receiving rehabilitation. He is able to assist caregivers while being dressed, and can brush his teeth.

“Brady” and his older brother, “Jake”, are from an America World partner orphanage. They live in the same room and a DNA test shows that they are paternal siblings. Their files are designated as Special Focus so a family at any stage of the adoption process or those just considering adoption are eligible to review their files.  If you are interested in learning more about these boys or our China waiting child program, email china@awaa.org or call us at 800-429-3369. You can also take 3-5 minutes to fill out a FREE pre-application on our website which helps you determine if you meet China’s adoption requirements.
