Volunteer Needed for Welcoming Angels

We are looking for a volunteer to work 8 hours/week on Tues/Th to assist in our Welcoming Angels orphan hosting program.  The responsibilities would include administrative assistance with paperwork, correspondence, fielding phone inquiries, and conducting research on regulations. 

Welcoming Angels is a new Christian hosting ministry sponsored by America World Adoption. We partner with churches, ministries, and families to place older orphaned children with Christian host families in the U.S. for short term stays.  The mission of Welcoming Angels is to raise awareness of the needs of older orphans throughout the world and their desire for permanency with loving families.  For 2011, we are planning spring and summer hosting programs for Ethiopian orphans in Maryland and Pennsylvania with hope to expand into other states throughout the U.S.
