Urgent Need: Help Us Build a Chicken Coop in Haiti!

America World is building a chicken coop in Haiti for one of our large orphanage partners, Foyer de Sion! The purpose of the chicken coop is to provide the children at Foyer de Sion with a protein food source in the form of chicken, meat, and eggs. Additionally, this will provide an opportunity for the older kids to obtain the skills necessary to run a self sustaining chicken coop. We have a veterinarian assisting in the project to ensure that Foyer can keep the chickens alive and thriving. He’ll be instrumental in helping design the coop to make sure it is successful. We are also connecting with a Christian organization that will supply fresh chicken to the orphanage and provide a program to set up and train the kids & staff at Foyer to produce their own chickens for meat.

This is an enormous project that will have huge benefits. But it is also an expensive project. We have already raised $2,500 for this project, however, we need to raise an additional $2,500 before March 2. All of the funds will go directly toward this project. Please pray that this project will be a success, and please consider serving and ministering to the children in Haiti in this way.
