Updates From Our Storyteller Team in China – Art & Dance!

Mission 4
As always, we are proud of our Storyteller teams as they go out to serve the “least of these” around the world. This week, we have a Storyteller Team in China and what a wonderful week they have already had. The team serving this week has several adoptees who have returned to China and who are soaking up every minute of loving on these beautiful children and teens at the orphanage.

Mission 12
Though these teams do so many different things while in country, one of their focuses is always to love on the staff and children they come in contact with.  Storyteller Teams also provide the children with new ways to express themselves- particularly through art, or dance, or photography. It is always so wonderful to see the creativity of each team that God puts together to serve and how that plays out with the children they are serving.

Mission 7
Mission 8
You can tell these children are enjoying every minute of creating beautiful artwork alongside the team members. Art in its various forms,  can be very therapeutic for children and a wonderful way to release their creativity as oftentimes children in orphanages are not granted the opportunity or do not have accessibility to various objects to create art. This team allowed these children to explore new textures, color, and mediums to create beautiful art pieces!

Mission 9
The team was also blessed to see the children perform through singing, dance, and martial arts earlier in the week.

Mission 14
Please continue to pray for this team as they finish out their week serving. Here is a quote from the team leader,

“We're so very glad for the privilege of being here!! Please also pray we can get it all done, and especially that we can finish well and bless their socks off!”

Continue to pray for this team and for conversations they continue to have with those they meet and are working alongside of. We know that they appreciate your prayers!
