Please join us for a night of celebration in honor of the 20th Anniversary of Brian & Renee Luwis's non-profit child placing agency, America World Adoption. Over the past 20 years, America World has placed over 4,000 children from over 10 different countries into their forever homes, and we look forward to continue placing children with the families who are waiting for them. With the changes in international adoption and the decrease in the number of adoptions each year to the United States, America World is also excited to increase our work globally by caring for orphans and vulnerable children regardless of whether or not they are available for adoption. We hope you will come alongside of us to increase our global impact for children in the future.
The Celebration Gala is on Saturday night, October 10th, 2015. Cocktails and the Silent Auction begin at 6:00pm and the Gala begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased online at http://www.awaa.org/give/general_donation.aspx, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can send a check made out to AWAA to ATTN: Development, America World, 6723 Whittier Avenue, Suite 202, McLean, VA 22101. *Tables for 8 can be purchased at a discount for $800.

Special Guest - George Dennehy
George has captured attention all over the world for his unique talents. And he has a very powerful message to share. Because he was born without arms, he sings and plays music from his heart using his feet. George believes strongly that God has created each of us for a specific purpose and has overcome many challenges in his own life using his own faith as his anchor. People are surprised by his life story, including his brush with death in a Romanian orphanage, and his adoption by a U.S. family at the age of one. George started his musical journey by learning to play the cello at the age of eight. He advanced in classical music until he was able to play cello with regional orchestras. With the cello as his launching pad he has taught himself guitar, electric bass and basic piano. Regardless of the setting, people in his audience are always inspired, deeply touched and often realize their own goals are very much within reach.
George has been honored to share the stage with other talented acts including MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, Hillsong United, Audio Adrenaline, Jesus Culture, Colton Dixon, and Jamie Grace., He has also released a CD of original music titled "Have my Heart ". George and his wife Stephanie were married last year and now George is a father to a beautiful boy.
Today George travels the world full time sharing his story and his music. His testimony of a victorious, overcoming life energizes and inspires his audience and is an event that they will never forget.
