The Center for Adoption Support and Education (CASE) has two upcoming webinars. Whether your family is home with your child(ren), or still waiting, we encourage you to continue taking advantage of the adoption resources available to your family.
Thursday, October 27th: Talking With Children About Adoption
This is one of their most requested topics, and will teach parents what children think and feel about adoption at different developmental stages and how to share their child’s adoption story. Regardless of where your family is in the adoption process, this webinar will be a great resource on this topic.
Thursday, November 17th: Too Many Losses Too Soon: Loss and Grief in Adopted Children
“It is critical that adoptive parents have a good understanding of the unique losses experienced by adopted children, and the critical factors that influence children’s reaction to their loss.” This seminar will address effective parenting strategies and healing therapies for children and teens.
