Uganda Mission Trip: Join Us in June!
Roger and Julie are educators and have been greatly impacted by their past trips to Uganda, this year they are leading a trip of educators and passionate people to impact the lives of vulnerable and orphaned children.
I am so blessed that God is continuing to open doors in my life and allowing me to use his blessings to bless those in need; especially the orphaned children in the country of Uganda. Everyone knows there is a need in the lives of these children, but just like anything, you can’t completely understand the need unless you see, feel and witness it first hand.
In 2016 when I took my first trip to Uganda I had an awakening because the need was so real and my heart was broken for these children. These children have many needs, but one thing that impacts their lives in the most amazing way is love. During that trip, I knew I couldn’t fulfill or meet all of their needs or change their living conditions, but I knew I could show love to these children and show them that they are valuable, they are loved, and they are not forgotten.
This year I am blessed to lead a new team along with a very special woman, Julie Wilson, who like me serves each day in the public school community and strives daily to impact and change lives here in the United States. But just like Julie, I know that I have been called to do more than just impact the students in my school, my district or the state of Michigan. I have been called to reach the children of the world and show them the love that God has for them by being the hands and feet of Christ.
