Today Show Segment on Adoption
November 6, 2013

The Today Show aired a segment on adoption for November's National Adoption Month focus. The featured couple shared their disappointment-filled road towards a private adoption, which thankfully ended with the joy of raising a son. Chuck Johnson, president of the National Council for Adoption, spoke about problems that can result from insufficient research in choosing an adoption agency.

Watch here.

When researching adoption agencies, be sure to look at their mission and vision statement along with their values (ours is here). At America World, we fulfill our mission of building families by God's design of adoption hand in hand with several key values:

  • Integrity & Wise Stewardship
  • Respect & Empathy
  • Creativity
  • Commitment to the best interest of Orphans and Families
  • Dependency on God
A lot of careful research and thought goes into choosing the right adoption agency- so much that it can be overwhelming. We are happy to answer any questions you have before beginning the adoption process, or we can refer you to others who have had a great experience with us. If God is laying adoption on your heart, please give us a call at 800-429-3369 to learn more.
