South Asia Waiting Child: Meet “Carter”
“Carter” is a handsome 8-year-old boy who is HIV+. While there is not much information in his medical paperwork, it is noted that he has a history of febrile convulsions. It also appears that he has been treated for pneumonia, tuberculosis, and post varicella lesions on his body.
He is a talkative guy and all of the information in his paperwork indicates that his speech is on target for his age. He is friendly towards his caregivers, friends, and strangers. He is described as active, happy and content and likes to play with toys and his friends, just like most 8-year-old boys! He is able to express his feelings whether that is joy or frustration.
Carter is a shared referral. If you are interested in more information, please contact your Family Coordinator or email India@awaa.org.
Please also join us in advocating and praying for Carter!
