Sky needs a family, will you speak up for her today?

Meet Sky- A spunky little 11 year old girl who loves to pose for the camera. This smiley girl is so sweet. All week I never saw her upset or frustrated. She always had a smile on her face. The language barrier wasn't an issue for Miss Sky. She always found a way for us to understand what she wanted. The bead station was her favorite and she was always so happy to share her creations with the team and staff and assist the other children. If I had to describe her in one word I think it would  be cheerful.

Sky is quiet, cooperative, gentle, and patient. She can handle self-care and communicates well with adults. Sky likes to help her nannies and can do simple chores as well. She is at a pre-k level at the orphanage school. She appears to be a sweet tempered child, understands sharing, and freely gives hugs. Her favorite color is yellow and she enjoys drawing and has one close friend.  She enjoys playing with peers and listening to music and will dance to the rhythm. She will get excited when watching cartoons and likes to imitate motions in the cartoon. She has quick reaction skills and is energetic. She also enjoys playing with the chick and puppy.  

Sky has Down Syndrome and was born with a congenital heart defect (PDA) that has been repaired. She is designated by China as special focus and a family at any stage of the adoption process is eligible to review her file.
