A loving ambassador team recently met Simon. Will you help us advocate for him today?

Simon is described by his caregivers as a smart, extroverted, active, and handsome 13-year-old boy.  Simon has been diagnosed with Joubert syndrome.  He can understand well and communicate with simple words and sentences, though not always clearly.  He is a hard worker, and after rehabilitation training, he is now able to walk unassisted, actively participate in activities, and completely self-manage himself.  In fact, his file notes that he often helps the other children!  His favorite activity is sports, especially football.  A Loving Ambassador team recently spent time with Simon in November 2019, and they observed him to be quiet, kind, and easy to get along with.  He can kick, dribble, and catch a ball well and loves art and drawing.  Through the various activities they did together, Simon was cooperative, engaged, and followed directions well.  His nannies described him to the team as a “good boy.” Though his depth perception is limited and his speech is unclear, he is very compliant and a hard worker.  The doctor who examined Simon noted that he is a pleasant young man who often says hello with a great big smile and appears to be quite healthy.  “He was given a shark book and sat contentedly reading.  He has some delays but would improve greatly with a loving family!”

Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through prayingadvocating, or inquiring to learn more.
