September Zoo Outing

This fall, our corporate office is holding a DC metro area gathering at the National Zoo. This invitation isn't just for locals- if you're able to join us, please do!

Here are the details:

Date:
Saturday, September 28 (rain date: Oct 5)

Time: 10 am – 2 pm

Cost: $25 per family for lunch (sandwich, chips, drink, and fruit
provided by the zoo) and gift for each child

Getting there: The zoo has limited parking, at our group rate of $16. It
is also located in between two metro stops on the red line- Cleveland Park and
Woodley Park-Zoo. The address is: 3001 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008

Where
to meet: In front of the Visitor Center
along Olmstead Walk at 10 a.m. Look for an America World sign.

We’ll
eat a picnic lunch together at noon, and the rest of the day will be
unstructured. You are welcome to fellowship in large or small groups while
enjoying the zoo exhibits!

Mail a
check for $25 made out to America World Adoption with “Zoo Outing” written in
the memo. *Please note that we won’t be covering the price of parking, but the zoo will give us group rate vouchers along with the lunch package. Parking is paid on your own as you exit the garage and the cost to AW is just $25.*
