Thanks for Joining Our 21 Days of Prayer! The Season of Hope Has Begun!

Over the past 21 days America World staff, families, partners and friends have prayed daily for our families in the process, our organization and for children around the world. Hundreds of individuals and families joined us as we lifted our petitions to the Lord.

God answers prayers in so many different ways. He has his best and most glorious plan for our lives. There are times when we don’t see “answers” right away. And then there are times when He bends down to us, so close, and gives us an answer that our human eyes just can’t miss. On day 15 we asked God to intervene on behalf of children waiting in our Haiti adoption program. By the end of the day, we learned that a little boy, waiting for his family in Haiti, would come home that very week! What a joy it was to celebrate this very tangible answer to our prayers.

As we enter into our annual Season of Hope we invite you to celebrate moments like this with us. The Season of Hope is a special time observed each holiday season. A time when reflection and thanksgiving take place as well as plans for future impact. This year we are abundantly blessed with a $125,000 matching grant that will double all gifts given to the ministry of America World. This exciting opportunity begins now and lasts until the end of December. Please pray that God will provide the resources needed to care for more orphaned and vulnerable children than ever before.
