Season of Hope: Our youngest champions!
Each year we receive a few emails from parents telling us about little projects their kiddos have taken on to raise funding for orphan care initiatives. This year is no different! We love this story sent in by one of our families:
“I just wanted to let you know that our children took on little jobs during COVID to help neighbors since this summer. Our 15-year-old has been babysitting, 13-year-old took on yard work & projects, and 10-year-old has been caring for animals and walking a dog for an elderly couples who can’t walk him anymore. They calculated their tithes last night and after hearing my calls during Season of Hope, they wanted to donate their tithes to the agency that brought their brother home from China. I just wanted you to know…my kids’ lives have been impacted, and they are so thankful for AWAA. I just want to encourage you that you’re doing an awesome job supporting the agency through this season, and we so appreciate you!”
While we appreciate the encouragement, we’ve got to hand it right back to this sweet family. YOU all are the reason America World is what it is today. From the smallest gift to the largest, your “tithes” and gifts care for children worldwide. God bless you all. Learn more about the Season of Hope initiative by clicking here.
