San Salvador: November 14th, 2008

Dear Families:

I pray to our Lord this letter finds you well.  Another week has gone by very fast…I have heard that the Procurador is going to have REUNION CONJUNTA and COMETTE in the next two weeks so; I don’t have the exact dates, but it will definitely happen in the coming days, so I need to ask you all to pray for more families' approval and definitely for referrals. 
On the other hand, there are some changes in the Adoption Law, and definitely there are going to be more changes after the elections of this Country (which are next year)), but for all we trust our good God, changes are always for good, but I need  to ask you - all of you - to pray for the government of El Salvador and all the people who work with it, because they are in charge of these kids' futures.
I was called today by OPA recently.  They wanted to inform me about one family who was about to be approved, but I had to report that that specific family had withdrawn from the program.  It was very sad to me to say that, not only because all the work done here, also because I know all the work and effort every family has to make to built their dossiers.  So please, if you feel in your heart that the Lord wants you to adopt, please trust him that he will do things completely.  Pray to him, because he definitely has something to say to us.
I want to thank the Lord for my job, for you, the orphan kids and our lives.  I praise him for whatever comes, and for whatever happens before, and what is happening now.
