Russia Program

Last week one family accepted their referral for an older girl and are preparing to travel on the first trip.  Other referrals were received and are still being reviewed by the families.  Two families recently finalized their adoptions in Russia and are waiting to bring their children home.  We received the court dates for three families and two are preparing to travel this week. We are excited to see so many families moving forward with their adoptions and so many beautiful children coming home. Almost all recent referrals have been boys, and we expect this trend to continue as Russian officials continue to tell us that there are very few young girls available.  Families who are interested in adopting boys are strongly encouraged to apply for America World’s Russia program.
