Russia Program Update – 2008

Congratulations to two America World families who will come home with their boys this week!  Another America World family is still in Russia and successfully passed through their court appointment!  Today we also received the court appointment and travel itinerary for a Russia family preparing to travel to Krasnoyarsk.  Two families accepted referrals this week; one for a child in Tula and one for two children in Nizhny Novgorod.  We are excited to see families moving forward with their adoptions and so many beautiful children coming home! Almost all recent referrals have been boys, and we expect this trend to continue as Russian officials continue to tell us that there are very few young girls available for adoption.
