Rossen needs a forever family

Rossen needs a forever family

Rossen is a quiet boy but gives lots of smiles! Rossen was a part of our Journey of Hope project last fall where we met him and spent time with him assessing his needs. He is 11 years old and lives in a wonderful foster family in China with two other children. He loves music and likes to dance and sing along. Rossen can recite some Bible verses from memory. He speaks very clearly, but quietly. He speaks and understands Mandarin, some Korean, and the local dialect.

Rossen has been diagnosed with congenital blindness. His hearing is excellent and he is in great health. Medical personnel on the team who assessed him last fall say he displayed autistic tendencies, but this has not been formally diagnosed. We have individuals who have met and worked with Rossen who would be available to speak to any family who is interested in learning more.

Rossen’s file is designated as Special Focus so a family at any stage of the adoption process may be eligible to review his file. Please contact our staff at china@awaa.org for more information.
