Support Group for Adopted Girls, ages 10-14

Leaders and participants alike have been blessed in this online support group that has been going on for a few weeks now.  This group of girls is connecting and sharing, and they have said they are open to having 1 or 2 new girls join in, so we want to make you aware of the opportunity and service that is available to your 10-14 year old adopted daughters.

The group meets on Thursdays at 9:00 pm EST (8:00 CST, 7:00 MTN, 6:00 PST), and lasts about 1-hour.  They meet via video conference where a small group of girls and a leader can talk together on their computer, tablet, or smartphone.  During the group, the girls are encouraged to chat and learn, share their stories and struggles, ask questions, etc.  Each week the leader will have some “ice breakers” and planned discussion around common adoption issues.

Cost is $25/session, payable in 3 session increments.  Registration and payment for the session are due by 5:00 pm the day prior to a child’s first session, but we strongly encourage you to reach out to us sooner so we have ample time to schedule a parent introductory call.  Use this Registration Form to sign up.  Email ACT@awaa.org, or call 800-429-3369, for more information.
