“….a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12

Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO)

“God is not surprised by our weakness or taken back by our inability. He’s not embarrassed by what little we have to offer and is certainly not disappointed when He counts it up in the offering box. He’s absolutely, sufficiently, unconditionally proud of it – all two small coins of it – because He knows it’s a measure of something much deeper and less tangible.”

This quote comes from a blog post recently published by the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) found here,  https://cafo.org/2017/11/14/loving-out-of-poverty/.  The post highlights a unique and inspiring viewpoint about adoption.  The gist is that God can do what we cannot when it comes to providing a healing home for children.  For more great information related to adoption and orphan care, explore CAFO more in-depth.

Christian Alliance for Orphans, or CAFO, describes itself on its website as this:  “CAFO unites 190+ respected organizations and over 650 church members. We labor together in shared initiatives that inspire and equip Christians for effective orphan care, family preservation, adoption and foster care. We work to see the local church in every nation known as the primary answer for the needs of vulnerable children in their midst.”  This organization has many fantastic initiatives and resources that are geared toward ministering to orphans and adoptive & foster families.  You can explore these on their website here:  https://cafo.org/.

So, take heart, rely on God and not your own strength or abundance.  And, check out CAFO for more great resources and inspiration like this!
