Remy needs a family to call his own

Today our China team would like to introduce you to 13-month-old Remy. Remy is a sweet little boy we recently received from one of our partnership orphanages. He lives in a foster family and is very close to his foster mom. He gets along well with other children in the foster family. Remy really loves music and a big grin comes across his face when music is played. He loves to play with toys that make sounds and he also enjoys being outdoors. He always has a cheerful disposition.  He likes to be around people and loves bath time. He can speak a few simple words, can recognize his name and recognizes his foster mom and dad.

Remy has been diagnosed with a left indirect inguinal hernia, undescended testes, laryngomalacia (softening of the tissue of the larynx which causes noisy breathing in infancy/toddler years) and due to physical and developmental delays, the orphanage suspects a level of cerebral palsy, although this has not been tested/confirmed.  We are currently waiting on the results from a requested CT scan. Remy was hospitalized in October 2016 and January 2017 as well for bronchopneumonia.

Remy is designated by the CCCWA as a special focus child, which means that families at any stage of the adoption process or even considering adoption, are eligible to consider his adoption. Please contact our China team at China@awaa.org or by phone at 800.429.3369 if you are interested in learning more about Remy. A great first step is to consider completing our FREE PRE-APP to confirm your eligibility for China.

We ask that you join us in praying for Remy to find his forever family and join us in advocating for this sweet little one. If you are involved in social media, please share his information with your friends and together we know that God will bring Remy just the family He has planned for his little life.
