Referrals, Dossiers, & the Wait Time

We apologize that the following information was not available to be posted until today. Unfortunately, the CCAA website has been unable to be accessed since last Friday and we were unable to obtain this information to post the referral cut off date to families when we posted the referral information last week.
It is important to note that the CCAA posts the referral cutoff date on their website at varying times. In many cases, the cut off date is not known to agencies even at the time they receive their referrals.  Oftentimes, it is posted a few days after referrals are received. America World will continue to post these important pieces of information immediately upon receiving confirmation from the CCAA.

Referrals
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with their office before February 17, 2006. Last week, we received all of the referrals for families logged in on 2/17/06. America World’s next LID to be matched is 3/1/06.

Dossiers Reviewed
The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents (dossiers) registered with their office before February 28, 2007. The timeframe for the review process will vary as it is based upon the number of dossiers that are logged in during the particular month that is currently under review.

Wait Time
Families are encouraged to read the November Wait Time Report that was recently posted on November 5, 2008.
