Referral Updates & Chinese New Year Celebrations

China Program Referrals

Congratulations to the 3 families who received referrals on February 2nd!  All of the little girls are currently located in the Guangdong province.  Please join us in congratulating these families and praying for them as they prepare to travel. We will post a full China program update outlining current referral matching dates and wait time information.

Waiting Children Program

Congratulations to the 7 families who accepted referrals through the China Waiting Children (WC) program in January!   Please join us in prayer for all the waiting children who still need homes. There are hundreds of boys and girls, infant to age 13, available for adoption.  Families interested in learning more about the Waiting Child Program and matching process should contact their Family Coordinator. 

Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year celebrations begin today (February 3rd).  The holiday is a time of celebrating family and friendships.  We hope this is a time for AWAA China Program families, past and current, to celebrate Chinese culture and enjoy time with their family and friends.

The China Program staff continue to pray for all families throughout the various stages of the adoption process.  We look forward to serving your family this year.
