Pilot Programs at America World Adoption
Have you ever wondered how America World chooses to open new adoption programs, or why a certain country may be chosen over another? The answer is complex and always involves a lot of prayer, research, partnering with in-country staff and organizations known for their integrity and ethics, while seeking to meet a need.
If there are waiting children, America World is honored to help find forever families for those children. When a new program is opened, it is referred to as a 'pilot program' until the first family comes home with their child from that country.
Currently, America World is seeking pilot program families who are flexible with expectations and timelines, and are interested in adopting an older child or child with medical needs. There are several pilot program opportunities.
Families interested in learning more can register for the AWAA Pilot Program webinar scheduled for Wednesday, November 5th from 12:30-1:00 pm EST. Families who cannot attend the webinar can email our program staff and receive a summary of the presentation. We trust in the Lord’s leading for our agency and our program development.
