One Orphan: Uganda
February 13, 2017

A One Orphan medical team recently traveled to visit our partner orphanages in Uganda. They had an amazing and impactful week as they saw patients and did well checks on the children in care. But their love for the kids did not stop there. In fact, it didn't stop when they left Uganda and flew home. The team was immensely impacted by the children and they chose to provide the food for the children that would last a few months. Uganda has experienced drought and food has been more expensive and difficult to obtain. The team leader recently received the following letter and a few pictures of the truck delivering the food supplies!

Dear Pastor Joe,

Warm greetings and lots of hugs from all at Canaan.
Believing that all is well with you family and entire Kirby Church.

Once again we would love to reach our sincere appreciation to you and the entire Team for loving us. You blessed our hearts and souls. God bless you indeed. We believe and pray that God will enable you to come serve Canaan and the near by communities as you did this year. Reach our appreciation to whoever supported your Team financially and spiritually. We are indeed grateful.

I would love to share with you the photos of Canaan Children and school children with the blessing of the Food that God provided through you dear friends. The children were so excited and the entire Canaan family. Please see attachments for photos and receipts. This Food shall takes us for the next 3-4months. you blessed us indeed.

We also still have more food to collect from the store and we shall send you more photos soon.
