New CCAA Update Regarding Swine Flu
With the recent outbreak of the Swine Flu, America World has continued to monitor this health concern and be in contact with the CCAA on a daily basis. The CCAA has contacted us and has stated that they are recommending that agencies postpone travel.
The CCAA has not restricted travel for families. However, they do want families and agencies to exercise caution if making travel arrangements and would like families to take any necessary precautions while traveling. (AWAA will discuss this at time of travel) America World will continue to follow up with each Province where families have received referrals, but hope to have families continue to travel.
At this time, the CCAA has not indicated that they will stop issuing referrals, and America World will email families again when we receive more concrete information from the CCAA. We will continue to assess this situation with the CCAA and our in-country staff in the weeks ahead.
America World will continue to provide updates on any new developments or any decisions that are made, that would affect your family's adoption process. We know that this is a very difficult time for families who are waiting to be united with their children. America World continues to uplift your family in prayer and seek God's guidance during this time.
