China Waiting Child: “Miley”, Perfect for the Active Family

When your favorite song comes on the radio, do you often find yourself dancing when no one is around or watching you?

Is your family extroverted and active?

Do you appreciate being outdoors or playing sports?

Do you often count down the hours until the next time you can get outside again and explore your neighborhood while riding bikes together as a family?

If this describes you or your family, sweet little Miley may be just the perfect fit for you—an active adoptive family! These are just a few of the many things that Miley enjoys, too.

We first shared Miley’s Story with you earlier this Spring and we are excited to share some updates with you today. As you will see in this video, Miley is a bright little girl, who enjoys learning about the world around her, as evidenced in the updated video below where she shares with us the names of animals.

 

As you can see in her videos, Miley is showing off her recognition skills by naming animals and fruits. She is described by her caregivers as passionate and positive with an outgoing personality. She also loves singing and dancing when her favorite tune comes on. Miley lives in a foster family, but part of her day she still joins the children at her orphanage for various activities. She can understand her nannies and her foster parents and can express her wants. She can often be found reciting children’s poems or learning new things.

She is independent and can take care of many of the typical self-care and daily tasks of her daily life. When she isn’t learning in her class, she enjoys running, playing, riding her bike, and playing ball.
