Dominic is a precious boy who can count numbers and likes to sing children's songs. He has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and club feet. He received treatment in a rehabilitation hospital from 9/13/2012 to 11/22/2012, and continues to receive rehabilitation in the orphanage. After consistent rehabilitation treatment, he can now walk alone, but has poor balance. He can go up and down stairs alone while holding onto something.
Dominic's caretakers describe him as bright and say that he gets along well with everyone. We have 2 new videos of Dominic on file at America World. Dominic is from one of our orphanage partnerships and his file is designated by the CCCWA as a special focus file, so a family at any stage of the process is eligible to review this file.
Current America World families who are interested in adopting Dominic into their family should contact their Family Coordinator about him.
Families not currently in the process of adopting with America World should fill out a quick & simple free PRE-APPLICATION and our Intake staff will follow up with you right away.
Any questions about Dominic or any Waiting Child can be directed to our China staff at WaitingChildren@awaa.org or 800-429-2269.
