Lots of Reasons NOT to Adopt, But It Only Takes One Reason TO Adopt
“Adoption is easy”…said no one.
Oh how we wish that were true. The concept is easy: there are millions of true orphans who need families, and there are millions of families who would love to have children. So why is it so hard?
Unfortunately, there are lots of reasons the adoption process is so tedious, so long, and so costly. Protecting the orphan and making decisions that are best for them are the primary concern. Add the paperwork required and the time to process it, then the costs associated with the paperwork, travel and related costs…so why do it?
Ask any adoptive parent and they will tell you. It was all worth it.
