Indian Waiting Child: “Piper” needs the loving care of a family

“Piper” is an adorable 2 year old girl with large brown eyes and dark curly hair. She’s described by her caregivers as active, playful, and stubborn. She can walk unassisted and has started talking. She loves listening to music, watching tv and generally prefers playing by herself. “Piper” is HIV positive and had a Recto-Urethral Fistula for which she has already received corrective surgery. She also wears glasses for a squint and is receiving anti retroviral therapy for her HIV.

Although “Piper” is in the care of a wonderful orphanage, what she needs above all is the loving care of a family. Please keep “Piper” in your prayers and share her story.

This is a shared referral. For more information on “Piper” or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.

Please note, we are unable to publically display photos of Indian waiting children, families inquiring and in process will have access to photos.
