Indian Waiting Child: 9-Year-Old, “Ella” is Waiting for a Family
“Ella” is a 9-year-old girl with straight long black hair and a kind face. She is currently attending 4th grade and is described as being a “good and friendly girl” who listens well to her teachers and is an average student.
“Ella” has a hemangioma on her face. Hemangioma birthmarks often fade over time but can also be treated with medication and lasers.
There are many older girls and boys who are healthy or have minor special needs that are waiting for families to adopt from India. Please pray with us for “Ella” and the other waiting older children. Pray that they may be blessed soon with the love, protection, and care that all children deserve.
America World has been placing vulnerable children in India since 2006 and is a Hague-accredited India adoption agency. Our India adoption staff is dedicated to advocating for the children in India who desperately need forever families, and is ready to walk your family through the entire process as you begin your journey of adopting from India.
The general timeframe to adopt from India, from application to traveling home with your child, is approximately 18-24 months and that timeframe has been decreasing.
