India Waiting Twins: Lillian & Leah

IndiaLillian and Leah are identical 3 ½ year old twin girls with HIV. They have the same large inquisitive eyes and shy smile. They are described as active, happy and very close.

Although there is currently no cure for HIV or AIDS, the medications that are now readily available in the United States that treat HIV are highly effective. As a result, HIV is now considered a chronic yet manageable condition. Children who receive the proper treatment and medications have close to normal or normal life expectancies.

If you or anyone you know are interested in adopting children that have HIV, please do not hesitate to contact our staff at India@awaa.org. We have team members who have received special training in HIV positive adoption.

If you would like to learn more about the process of adopting from India, please signup for our free informational webinar, “Adopting from India” on Tuesday, March 21 from 3:00 – 3:30 EST.

This is a shared referral. For more information on “Lillian and Leah†or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.
