India Down Syndrome Adoption: Meet “Tanya”

Meet Tanya! She is an adorable 5-year-old girl with Down syndrome. She has global developmental delays but is otherwise healthy.

Tanya likes the other children at the orphanage. When interacting with adults, she does not differentiate between her caregivers and strangers. She does smile when she is with her caregivers and is more easily comforted by these individuals.

Tanya is described as active and likes to play with toys but she is easily distracted. She can do things like stack cubes, push cars, put doll babies to bed, etc.

Wouldn’t it be great if Tanya had a family to play cars and dolls with? What about your family? Would you join us in praying for Tanya and advocating for her?
