“Tania” is a friendly 3-year old girl who was born with Sickle Cell Anemia. She is described as a cheerful, smiley and active girl who is well bonded with her caregivers and enjoys playing with other children. She is developing normally and speaks Odia.
Did you know that Sickle-cell is common in ethnic groups of central India? This disease is managed with supplements and blood transfusions, and can in some cases be cured with bone marrow transplants.
Could you be “Tania’s” forever family? Would you partner with us in telling her story?
