India Waiting Child: “Nathan” the Miracle Boy
“Nathan†is a 4 ½ year old baby boy who was born extremely premature. He required a lot of medical intervention to save his life. His caregivers say that although he is still small in stature and behind developmentally, he is a confident and determined child who has grown in leaps and strides. He attends preschool, knows his numbers, alphabet and is receiving speech therapy. When our staff met him he sang “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star†for us and we were charmed by this little miracle boy.
