India Waiting Child: “Isaiah” is a Hero in Adversity

IndiaDuring our recent two week trip to India, we had the pleasure of meeting many orphans. We will spend the next several weeks advocating for several special little ones who stole our hearts.

Today, we’re advocating for “Isaiahâ€, a 3-year old boy born without feet or hands. His handicap hasn’t deterred him from walking, running, jumping and even playing soccer with the help of his special shoes. He has a gorgeous smile, black curly hair and big brown eyes. His caregivers describe him as affectionate, sociable, observant and sensitive. He loves to be independent and can eat and dress himself with little assistance, but he still loves to cuddle. He even shows interest in school and has been sitting in classes though he’s not yet school age. He loves playing with vehicles, outdoor games and coloring.

Please pray with us that a family will soon come forward to adopt this wonderful boy who our India staff consider a true inspiration and a little hero

This is a shared referral. For more information on “Isaiah†or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.
