“Elizabeth” is a beautiful and sweet 8-year old with HIV. She is described by her caregivers as having good manners and a great attitude. She loves socializing with her friends and is a good student.
Although there is still no cure for HIV, antiretroviral therapy (ART) can control the virus so that people with HIV can live longer, healthier lives and reduce the risk of transmitting HIV to others. There are more than 20 medications approved by the FDA for the treatment of HIV. As an agency, we continue to see HIV positive children living full and healthy lives in their forever families.
Please pray with us for a family for “Elizabeth”.
This is a shared referral. For more information on “Elizabeth” or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.
