India Waiting Child: Baby “Melody” is ‘More Precious than Diamonds’

Today, we’re advocating for “Melody”, a beautiful 2 1/2-year old girl born with ambiguous genitalia for which she has already undergone some surgery. “Melody’s” case is a unique one and she needs a special family that is open to the realities of this medical need and the surgical intervention that has occurred.

When our staff met her several weeks ago, they instantly fell in love with her energy, friendliness and how her smile lit up the room. Her caregivers describe her using their version of the 4 C's: clever, curious, confident, charmer! She is already attending preschool and is developing age-appropriately.

India staff have met “Melody” and would be happy to answer any questions concerning her specific case. Please pray with us that a special family will soon come forward to adopt this precious girl.
