India Waiting Baby Girl: “Violet” Needs a Family!

America World’s India program would like to introduce you to “Violet.” “Violet” is 1 ½ year-old that is waiting in India for her forever family. With big brown eyes and a sweet smile, “Violet” is an active and social child that enjoys attention. She understands and speaks a few words in Hindi and walks without support. “Violet” gets along with well with other children but also likes to be the leader in a group.  

“Violet” was born with a genital malformation related to congenital adrenal hyperplasia. This is a condition that may include other aspects like early-onset of period, infertility, obesity and short-stature. “Violet” has already had some corrective surgery and typically this condition is managed with medication.
