India Waiting Baby Girl: “Evie”
“Evie” is a sweet 9-month-old baby girl with big round cheeks and a sweet smile. “Evie” is a social baby who loves to play with colorful toys and interact with the other babies in her orphanage. America World is looking for a family called to adopt a baby from India.
“Evie” had seizures as an infant as well as microcephaly, a medical condition in which the brain does not develop properly resulting in a smaller than normal head.
There are many children from India with microcephaly who are waiting for forever homes. Some babies with microcephaly will have normal intelligence and their heads will grow bigger. Some children may have only mild learning disabilities, while those with more severe cases may face significant cognitive delays. Treatment and therapy can help but microcephaly cannot be cured.
Please pray with us for a family who will open up their home and hearts to offer unconditional love to “Evie”. Please share her story.
