India Waiting Baby Boy: “Randal” Needs a Family

Sweet “Randal” has large brown eyes and a big smile. This happy boy loves playing with rattles and is working on pulling to stand.

As an infant, he was malnourished and diagnosed with 'failure to thrive'. He has since been diagnosed with a rare cephalic disorder of the central nervous system characterized by cysts within the brain, which causes seizures.  In some cases, this disease may cause only minor neurological problems without any impact on intelligence, while in others it may cause severe disability. Despite his complicated medical situation, his caregivers say he is currently developing near normally and is an extremely joyful child.

Please pray with us for baby “Randal” and the other children in India who are waiting for homes. There are many children who have moderate to severe medical conditions that need not only the medical care that can be found in the United States but most of all the love of a family.

This is a shared referral. For more information on “Randal” or other waiting children in India, please contact India@awaa.org.
